As hopefully everyone is aware HB 1 contains the Hearing Protection Act or HPA, this is a good thing for all of us in the 2nd Amendment space. What this does is it removes suppressors from the purview of the NFA (National Firearms Act) and puts them under the GCA (Gun Control Act). Now I hope that this passes the Senate as it's already passed the House.
Now what does this mean for Caddy development? It means a couple of things: Firstly, it means that in the long run it will be easier for me to design new Caddies. Though in the short term if it passes I'm predicting a year or two shortage of suppressors. I'll borrow the ones that I can to continue development of new Caddy Designs. I also have a new Suppressor coming in shortly. You'll get the announcements for the release of that Caddy as an email and on Instagram. Secondly, Caddy development may grind to a halt after the next release should it be difficult for me to get Suppressors to develop new Caddies for before they are sold.
